PIA team has a long-standing commitment to corporate responsibility. We set actionable goals and make strategic investments to drive social impact. As part of our commitment to the eradication of injustice and violence against women, we helped underprivileged women and children through our partner NGO – SHE – Shelter for Her Empowerment.
We support SHE activities which leverage the transformative power of culture and use folktales, literature and street theatre to design our initiatives. Participatory theatre has been one of the most successful initiatives.
In 2017, we supported SHE in fundraising for hosting Koom-koom, a theatre group from Jerusalem which uses puppets, music and other forms of art to stage a playful theatre performance. This performance was arranged at the National Museum for the little brave hearts from the paediatric cancer ward at AIIMS.
